SAPAN PARIKH, DMD, FICOI

Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Sapan A. Parikh attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). From an early age, Dr. Parikh knew he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. It was during his senior year at Bridgewater-RaritanHigh School that his aspirations started to become a reality. He was accepted into the accelerated seven-year dental program at Fairleigh Dickinson University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After just three years, Dr. Parikh graduated summa cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Dr. Parikh’s hard work and perseverance paid off when he was one of five students selected to treat patients in a Northfield dental office during his senior year at UMDNJ. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Parikh was offered a position by UMDNJ to work as an associate dentist in all three of their satellite offices. During this period, he had the opportunity to service the underserved community of South Jersey. That experience is what currently motivates Dr. Parikh to dedicate his time and expertise to community service events.

Dr. Parikh has received a two-year fellowship in Oral Implantology from the prestigious NYU Dental Post-Graduate Program. He is a current Fellow of the ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantology).

Additionally, Dr. Parikh plays an active role in dental organizations. He serves as the Treasurer for the Indian Dental Association of North America. Dr. Parikh continues to stay busy as an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, Middlesex County Dental Society, Academy of Dental Education Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
